Manson moved into a home upon his release from a corrective institution, with Mary Brunner, a 23 year old graduate. Manson brought other women to live inside the home, eventually residing with 18 other females in Brunner’s house. Manson established himself as a guru during the 1967 “Summer of Love” in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury locale. Manson soon had a group of female followers who embarked on a trip in a school bus at the end of the summer.

Charles Manson met Dennis Wilson, of The Beach Boys, in late spring 1968. Wilson had picked up two hitchhiking Manson women and brought them back to his home for a few hours. The following morning, upon returning home from a night recording session, Wilson encountered Manson on his driveway who commenced kissing his feet. I am going to see we need to talk about Kevin on Saturday afternoon. I am very excited about seeing it because the director, Lynne Ramsey, is one of my favourite directors of all time. Her film "The Ratcatcher" is the most heartbreaking film I have ever seen.

When I saw the trailer for the movie, I remembered that sitting on a shelf somewhere, in between boxes of old batteries and gu 10 led light bulbs I also had the book. So I started to read it.

I admit this isn't first time I had tried to read the book, I had started it once and found it too dreary and put it down. This time, with the exciting prospect of seeing the film the following week I pushed myself on through the first chapters, and became enthralled with it.

But it has also been making me feel incredibly depressed. I do not have children, and have always thought I would like them one day. This book is unraveling very deep seating psychological fears I didn't even know I had about becoming a mother. I am enjoying the book, but I think I need to read something much happier afterwards, just to bring my mood back to normal. Because at the moment every day life seems tinged with a despair I didn't know existed. And all i want to say is that I've never had a book affect me in such a profoundly negative way before.

I don't usually try to understand other people's relationships, because it's between them and it's impossible to know what it's like in that relationship. But my sister has one of the most ridiculous relationships I've ever witnessed, so I wish I could understand it.

They used to split up and reunite a lot when they first got together, but then things seemed to be better when he moved in with her last year. But now she is constantly kicking him out for some mess up or another, he seems to just be useless at treating her right and keeping the relationship going.

He's lazy and selfish and cheated on her a couple of times early on in the relationship, and I don't think she's been able to get over it, and too right - I wouldn't!

He must be keeping flower delivery england in business with the amount of apologies he has to make!

‘Sympathy for the Devil’ was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and released by The Rolling Stones. The song is a first-person narrative from the point of view of the Devil.

When asked about the inspiration behind the song in a 1995 interview with Rolling Stone, Jagger said, “I think that was taken from an old idea of Baudelaire's, I think, but I could be wrong. Sometimes when I look at my Baudelaire books, I can't see it in there. But it was an idea I got from French writing. And I just took a couple of lines and expanded on it. I wrote it as sort of like a Bob Dylan song.” The song bears similarities to the novel The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

The narrator of the song, Lucifer, tells of his exploits throughout human history and warns the listener: “If you meet me, have some courtesy, have some sympathy, and some taste: use all your well-learned politesse, or I’ll lay your soul to waste.” Better off having a listen to it on your sony headphones then!

I love sleeping and always suffer without a good night's sleep, especially with kids(!), so I found it really interesting to read some of the more unexpected habits that cause a bad night's sleep.

Exercise: you may think it'll help to tire you out, but exercising within the four hours before you want to sleep can make falling asleep more difficult.

Booze: you might think a nightcap will help you nod off, but it is most likely to set you up for a dodgy night's sleep.

Milky drinks: a hot chocolate or Horlicks won't actually promote sleep, but can actually disrupt your sleeping patterns.

Early nights and lie-ins: if you have trouble sleeping, lying in bed restless and awake can make it worse. You're much better off getting up and trying again later. Restrict your sleep to shorter bursts if you have to, then lengthen your sleep time as you need it.
